Charles Thomas is an innovative leader with over 15 years of experience driving transformation in the data centre and the hotel industries. As the founder of REDD Media and the Hotel Guest Experience Forum Series in Europe, UKI, UAE and India, Charles has become a pioneer in redefining guest experiences through digital innovation, uniting global hoteliers, industry experts, and technology pioneers to shape the future of the hotel sector.

Since 2009, Charles has made significant contributions to the data centre industry, delivering high-impact conferences and media initiatives that advanced operational excellence and technological innovation. His work facilitated collaboration among data centre professionals, addressing critical topics such as digital infrastructure, energy efficiency, and sustainability, establishing him as a trusted authority in the sector.

In 2024, Charles identified a gap in the hotel industry, where operations were often siloed, data was fragmented, and duplicate guest profiles hindered personalised service delivery. To address this, he founded REDD Media and launched the Hotel Guest Experience Forum as its flagship initiative. The Hotel Guest Experience Forum, which debuted successfully in London in 2024 welcomed hoteliers from 67 Hotel brands, has rapidly expanded to global destinations including Dubai, Stockholm, and Mumbai, providing a platform for hoteliers to explore technology-driven guest experience strategies and foster interdepartmental collaboration, one of the effective ways to enhance the guest journey.

Through REDD Media, Charles also introduced the Hotel Guest Experience Magazine, a publication dedicated to sharing insights and best practices for elevating guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Additionally, he launched Hotel Guest Experience News, which has published over 1,000 news articles, and Hotel Guest Experience Insights, a learning platform designed to empower hoteliers with knowledge and strategies to enhance guest satisfaction. He is now building the world’s 1st hotel guest exoperience hub.

At the Hotel Guest Experience Forum Europe on 9 December at Clarion Hotel Arlanda, Stockholm, Charles will present the latest thinking in guest experience, drawing on his experience building influential industry platforms and high-impact events.
